What we know:
As the rise of awareness for mental wellbeing increases, the taboo fades. Talking and educating whānau and communities about mental wellbeing is our best weapon against it.
What we do:
Balancing between individual needs and realising Whānau/Community aspirations is at the forefront of Te Ara Rau. Mātanga Whai Ora (Experienced Clinicians) can help with the ABCs:
• (A)ccessing Packages of Care and other community resources
• (B)rief Psychological Interventions
• (C)oaching and other educational strategies to self-manage and enhance your wellbeing
Making it happen:
Making a referral is free and easy. Contact us to see if this is the right place for yourself, family/whānau or a friend. Otherwise talk to your G.P and ask them to make a referral.
