The Finance, Audit, Risk and Health & Safety Committee is a standing sub-committee of the Central PHO Board and oversees the financial management, organisational compliance and risk for Central PHO and its other entities whether fully owned, in partnership or through a partial interest. The Committee also provides organisational oversight of identified Central PHO practices.
The Committee:
- Assists the Central PHO Board in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities to meet the statutory requirements of Directors and Trustees as outlined in the Companies Act (1993), the Financial Reporting Act (1993) and other relevant legislation.
- Provides strategic leadership for the management of risk, health and safety, financial management and internal (audit) controls.
- Provides independent liaison with external auditors.
- Provides the commercial governance of Central PHO practices and oversee the efficient operational activity of identified Central PHO practices.
