This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone in BI wanting to move into the health sector or gain greater exposure to data vault or ETL automation. Once established, there’s scope to make this position your own – there’s room for professional development into data engineer, solution design, and data architect directions.
You’ll be joining a high performing and tight-knit team which is part of driving business transformation through actionable insights. You’ll be responsible for the on-going development and maintenance of our data warehouse and ETL, as well as helping the team design additions to the data warehouse, and set-up new data flows and standards.
We have access to industry leading technology, and you’ll be exposed to a huge range of data domains – including clinical, business, and financial data. You don’t need a background in the health sector, but an understanding of health care in New Zealand from a consumer perspective is advantageous.
Ideally, you already have exposure to SQL Server, WhereScape, data vault, Kimball dimensional modelling, and SSAS and tabular OLAP cubes. But the key thing is that you have the aptitude and willingness to continue to learn new software and methodologies – training is available for the right person, as team fit is really important to us.
If you’re a self-starter, and have the ability to see the big picture, as well as get right into the detail, then we want to hear from you. We work in a fast-paced, change environment and emotional intelligence, resilience, and problem solving is key.
This position reports to the Health Intelligence Manager, and you will be helping us grow our analytics maturity. Our team is about making the connection between the data and the people so we work closely with our many stakeholders to help us embed that data in what we do.
This is a huge opportunity for personal and professional growth, and to build your network. Our team has a fantastic backing for the work that we do, and you’ll have the reward of seeing your BI outputs translate into action throughout the business.
